What if you had a raisin festival and raisins no showed up?
Here's a document of a "Raisin Festival" happening in Fresno, California in the 1920's (the custom didn't last long, apparently). We see a grand parade, a speech or two, and car races. And..... well, no raisins. BUMMER!
